Not that this helps you much over there but the Walmart here where I work has started already, not too much yet -- except for the 10 pallets full of candy and a few decorations.

I don't think this is worth a thread of it's own but I've heard on the pumpkin vine that Matalan (in the west midlands at least) have a sizable display of Halloween paraphernalia out now (costumes, masks, gravestones, party stuff mentioned). If you have a Matalan nearby it may be worth checking it out. It's my friend who told me about it, obviously knowing how crazy I am about Halloween she took special note of it

I was in ASDA today and noticed that the seasonal aisle is occupied by Back to School stuff, I should imagine it'll only be a week or two before they wheel out the Halloween stuff :) :)

TK MAXX do some Halloween stuff too but it tends to be on the American "country cottage" side rather than the Haunted house variety. They do sometimes have good stuff though.

Home Bargain and Poundstretcher seem to be putting theirs out. What I've seenso far seems to be ex - Woolies stock

ASDA this morning had started to put Halloween costumes out. No tat yet though although with the kids back to school, I'm sure there will be plenty of aisle space now that all the uniforms are on sale.
