All you need is one flesh coloured zip and some blood red face paint.

I saw this and love the simplicity. The effect is fantastic. Kudos to its creator. I love it

You have got to post pictures of it. My guess is that it is a lot harder to pull off than it looks but given your previous years' costumes, you are the man to do it.

Would love to see how it turns out.

i would bet you need some spirit gum and remover too. and unless the paint is smudge resistant a shirt your willing to get a bit dirty. still cheep compared to other costumes

i have a scar up the back of my head and down my neck into the back of my shirt from brain surgery. i kinda want to attach a zipper to it and paint the scar some funny alien color this year now i had even started my other costume BACK UP FOR SURE

Here is what I purchased for this:
3 zippers (in case I can't re-use them, and I wanted to practice)
a white lab coat (and I will wear an old white t-shirt underneath)
liquid latex to blend the edge of the zipper with my skin
prosthetic adhesive (supposed to be better than spirit gum) and remover
thick blood (almost looks like jam) to make some good chunks
stage blood to fill the open zipper area and put on the lab coat
castor sealer (to put on liquid latex so makeup will stick to it)
some liquid concealer to blend the latex and my skin

I hope to try it out soon, and I will post the results.
