Hello all,

I'm kinda stuck, and would like to carve another foamie. My first one was Kustom Frankie]. I want to do another, but am unsure as to what kind of design I SHOULD immortalize. Frankie is one of my favs, which is why I did that particular one, and I always found it difficult on real 'kins.

Any ideas as to what patterns are better than others?

I typically choose the easier patterns with a pretty traditional design for my foamies. I don't want something that's 'too' topical that will look silly in later years.

LOL I do the opposite I guess. I pick some of the harder to carve patterns and most of the time they are from Movies and TV.

Foamies are more difficult for me because they are on the smaller side of the kins I normally carve.

All I ever carved with Zombie Pumpkins! were on foamies.

You know, so am I. But it's one of those things where I'd rather leave it for the yearly carves. I prefer to work with real 'kins anyway. So I wanna save the meaningful patterns for them.

Its the ones that I would want to keep around for a while that I'm having a hard time deciding. Sonic, although fitting into this category, isn't something I would want to have to keep moving about my bed room. I like looking at Kustom Frankie. I just don't want to end up not having fun perfecting Sonic, before I even think about that stage of immortalizing him into foam.

I have it rounded down to who I want to do. I just wanted opinions not on WHAT pattern to carve, but rather which TYPE of pattern.

I try to do the ones that I carve every year any way...and if they are a bit more difficult...you take a bit more time.I have about 23 now.

My sister wonders where I am going to put them all. I really do not see much of a problem because they are easy to store. Just put them carefully in bins and they will be fine.
