I read in a previous post that you removed Jim Morrison because it was an earlier design and you were wanting to tweak the pattern. Any chance he'll be returning any time soon, or is this something to look for in the future? I really had my heart set on doing a Rock Gods theme this year, and Jim was numero uno on my list.
You know... Jim Morrison was one of the first patterns I ever posted online. Back in 2002. He was also one of the first designs I "retired." The old design didn't have great structural support and lacked enough detail to make it a good likeness. I like to think my patterns have come a long way since then. I've often said I would redo a Jim pattern. Finally, 11 years later I designed a new version:
Hey cool, glad to know there are some Doors fans out there. Jim was the least popular in the voting of my summer pattern preview. But I still get requests for him from time to time, so I'm sure he'll get immortalized in some pumpkins this year.
