I love the black and white photographs. The quality, depth and tones are amazing - far superior to the images that appear later in the book.

I find the section on gorillas great but disproportionately large compared to other categories. Great book that has made me want to track down some of the not so common films.

Agreed I always found the chapter about Vampires a little long in the tooth. :) Such a long chapter on gorillas and not a single gorilla pattern yet on Zombie pumpkins could this be the year of the kong?

Well I suppose we do have Tiki Monkey but no Planet of The Apes? No King Kong? Surely some mistake?

Vincent Price, yes! but no Christopher Lee? No Peter Cushing? Ryan, will be cursing this book by the end of October.

No Donkey Kong either :(. King Kong distant cousin I assume.
