Going back as far as TV's early black and white days, there have always been scads of supernatural series.

If there are any James Herbert fans out there, the BBC has released a short trailer of the upcoming tv version of The Secret of Crickley Hall.

The cast looks great and I'm very much looking forward to seeing this, I just hope it lives up to the book. :D

I'm afraid I know nothing of James Herbert but the trailer for this caught my eye a couple of days ago. There was a film called "The Awakening" out last year, maybe the year before which looked a bit like this. I fancy getting the book before I watch the series but im looking forward to it too.
On a side note I thought Ripper Street looked interesting too. :)

I hadn't heard anything of Ripper Street but i just looked at the trailer and it looks interesting. I love anything to do with Jack the Ripper.

Definitely get the book, its a great read. I am really looking forward to the series, i just hope it can keep the suspense and mystery. :D
