Looks like this year may be the year of the Vampire at the Scream Awards with True Blood and Twilight being in most categories.

Yeah, considering the method of voting is internet based, you can be sure the Twilight fans will help the vampires dominate any category they are nominated for.

As a horror fan, I'm slightly disappointed to see this award show shifting more toward other genres. Don't get me wrong, these other genres are great too, I'm a fan of it all. But I seem to remember this award show being spawned to specifically honor the scary stuff. Thus, the name - "SCREAM" awards.

But even their tagline reveals the shift to other genres. Horror is listed last, after "Honoring the best in fantasy, sci-fi, comics..."

"Benjamin Button" and Pixar's "Up" and seem a little out of place next to "My Bloody Valentine" and "Drag Me To Hell."

Still, should be a fun watch!
