Wow, nosferatu you're prolific with your artvelopes. Great subject matter all around. Anyone would be honored to receive one of those. I know I am! :D

I could use some pointers here.

I tried a few of these. I used transfer paper, got the image on and then filled it in with vibrant color colored pencil, just as mentioned, but mine do not look anywhere as good.

Would these be better off using some type of marker?

Hey Vlad...Did you try outlining the entire drawing with a fine-tip black marker, or black ink? That should give you the "pop" you're looking for.

I am working on an Artvelope video this week, and that should help out too!

I have new Artvelopes posted on my blog right now...

Thanks, I figured that one out.

I haven't colored it in yet, so I am not sure what that looks like though.

Looking forward to the video and how to use Gamsol.

I have bought myself an interim seft of blendable coloured pencils. I can see why they are so much more expensive than normal coloured pencils as the results are so much better. What I lack is technique which will hopefully improve with practice and an expert video tutorial.

But certainly, quality products make a big difference.

Can't wait for part two! The sparrow looks great as it is.

Great soundtrack too ZZ Top and Tenacious D. I thought I was playing Guitar Hero for a minute!
