Guys: I wanted to create a new thread, that Just deals with having Micheal's fix this Product. this thread is not how to get rid of the lines yourself, or hide these lines.

The Goal, is to get them "Micheals" to have their supplier remove these lines.

And have a pumpkin that will work for all carvers - Cut-Out or Shaded.

I started a thread on their own web-forum.

If you want to fix this problem (for future years)
add your 2 cents in the thread.

They need to hear from others- not just me speaking for others.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now it seems that their forum script is buggy and gives errors.
My way around it was to use the Links on the very top of the page to register and Log in. (not the links on the forum)

Image

1) go to http://www.michaels.com/
2) Click "Create Your Account"
3) after creating an account Click the "Sign In" Link also on top
4) Once Signed in click the Community Button - then Message Boards

The thread I started is in the Michaels Project Discussions section.

Even after making a post - their script gave me an error message,
but the post did go through. So check first before hitting submit again.
Also be careful on what you type, the edit function is on some sort of timer, I wanted to change a few typo's or define this or that, and could not.

Want to Fix it - instead of just talk about it.

I finally fought through their clunky forum scripts to post my 2 cents. Hopefully they are listening.

That's Awesome !!

EDIT: reply to Ryan, did not see matspud's post until after hitting submit.

I also got a reply email from Brad over at carvingpumpkins.com
about the original plan using a petition.

And sent him the information on the thread in their Forum.
(and the walk-around to be able to register/post)

I do think this would work much more to our advantage than a petition.
It's a pubic forum, So everyone gets to see that concerns have been raised, on this product. The concerns can't be filed in a waste basket. - LOL

Like I said to Donna in PM:
if they don't make the changes (for whatever reason),
at least we can all say "We Tried".

Well I'm not looking to beat the system,
But there are many carvers, that are from Canada & Over Seas.
That will pay the high shipping cost to get these things.
mainly from Friends/other carvers that live in the US.

In that case, I would put in a US postal code, just to be heard.

Never understood why a large company like this does not have a online store. I mean you can Buy online from their "Largest Competitor".
which is AC Moore.
