The idea is great, but I do find it easy to just lightly glue (with the cheapest white glue watered down) the pattern right onto the pumpkin. It saves a ton of time and peels off or washes off with a sponge (I actually give my foam and plastic pumpkins a bath in the tub to remove any paper left.

Thanks for the input spookyfx4u. I've never tried the glue method. Some swear by it, but I'm not sure I'll take that route. I don't do too many foam pumpkins anyway. And when I do, I like to go with a clean and dry route. I get enough sticky moisture from the real pumpkins.
