Is it possible to do a Skinned/Layered foamie? With the density of the foam in the different brands, I was curious if anyone has experience with this? I was thinking of broadening my carving horizon and trying a skinned pattern on one of my smaller gemmy types, but didn't want to butcher it and end up having to throw it in the garbage. Any pics out there?

I've seen a lot of shaded foamies with different depths to the shading, so yes, it's possible. If you are on Facebook check out some of these.. This person does an amazing job.
