I need to make him survive until Halloween, but that shouldnt be a problem. And I have just the pattern in mind to carve him when I get the chance.

Fine looking specimen there, ripe for the carving!

Now, what's with the 2 photos? Are we supposed to view them quickly, back to back, to create a stop motion animation? Let me try....

Oh neat, the possessed lanyard jumps on and off the pumpkin! :)

Then just to promote a previous request I made heres #3, Heads Up!

Heres a group shot of 6 of my other kins:

The four from the right are HUGE. They are probably closer to 17" from stem to bottom (if you lay the tape measure flush to the pumpkin).

Heres the middle two from that picture, the tallest and largest pumpkins I have ever bought:

A size shot with a pumpkin about 13" tall using the same method as before:

13/14 kins I have bought:

And the last one here, with a new addition to my iPod today :)

Wow, getting more? You already have a good selection, it seems. I see a #4 and #21 on the patterns and pumpkins. Can you tell us about this numbering system of yours?

Last year I stuck a bit of painters tape to each of my pumpkins, and with a Sharpie I wrote the name of the pattern I intended to carve on the tape. Helped me keep them straight, and make sure I had enough 'kins to go around, for the patterns I wanted to do.

I have up to 22 now!

My numbering system goes like this:

There are 30 Pumpkins, all ranging in different sizes and shape. So, the pattern that best fits the kin, gets numbered in the order of 1-10 for me, 11-20 for my brother Eric, 21-25 for my brother Matthew and finally 26-30 for my Dad (I count the number for each kin, thats why the numbering system looks weird).

So I'm getting #4, and Matthew gets #21. Hope that clears things up.

The 8 I got last night were the best crop I have got of 2011. One was even bigger (I think), than those two gargantuan ones I posted earlier.

I hope to get more today for a Church function that I'm hosting on the 30th. :)

Here are the pics!

In the front row only the left and the center are new ones.
The second row of three are all new, and the last row are of the previous 14 (see above).

Here are the other 3 I bought from Walmart, along with the 5 in the pic above, yesterday.

And now for a scale picture of the big boy on the right:

And now you can see how HUGE these guys are :)

In the second last picture I posted, I plan on putting Michael Myers on the Left kin.

After watching Halloween 1 another time this year, it inspired me to carve it yet again.
