Well done! 30 pumpkins is hard work. You should be proud. The most I've ever had was 20+ but they came together over a few days.

The bat cave pumpkin is always impressive. The spider is also well done. That one takes a long time with so many pieces.

Did you have a group display or just have the pumpkins all spread around?

Yeah, 30 almost seems impossible at the begining of October, but after it all comes together in the 6-5 days before (and some avoiding me until Halloween Day/Night), it can become cumbersome.

The looks on everyones faces though, MORE than makes up for it.

Actually, Spiteful Spider took me almost no time at all, after gutting, maybe a half hour. The most time comes in the detail work, but where cutting out the pieces was concerned it took me no time at all.

Bat Cave has always been a favorite, and will continue to be. However I wasn't pleased with it at all this year, which is why I threw it out a week later.

But thanks for thinking it looked good! :D

A combination of both, all the pictures in that fb gallery are undisturbed from their original placement on the lawn (those that were displayed on the night). So yea, a little of both.

Thats an epic amount of carves and if I'm not mistaken a record for you and your family? I've only ever reached 28 for the big night and I know how epic that can be. They all look great and I love the Harry Potter Theme you have going on and would love to do something like that next year, just waiting for a few more key players in place(comon Ryan you know you want a Hagrid, Hermonie, Ron, and I could go on and on). Looks like you had a fantastic year all around Congratulations. Here's looking forward to what you do in 2012.

Nope, same amount over the past 4 years to be exact (including this one). But for the amount each member did, there was a record low and two record highs.

My mom doing more than one is enough to break a record, as well as my older brother Matthew. He did 5 this year. He was hardly able to do ONE in recent years.

So yes and uh no. Thanks for liking the HP display. Eric put alot of effort into it.

Heres to all of you in 2012! :D
