Ah, there's the glow of a Dadja pumpkin I recognize. Gandalf looks so awesome, can't wait to see rest of your show.

So carving has begun. Been at it for two hours now, and these are the two first ones.


This one came out too late last year for me to carve. Originally I was going to carve this one for my grand mother, but unfortunately she passed away last June.
I still wanted to do this one and it took quite some effort. The windows are cut through, the roof panels are shaded, and the sky/moon is shaded deeper, to get some nice play of light going on.


Since my party is alien themed, I needed a little green man...

Depends. It looks great, and for me it was a must because of my party theme. I rarely carve older patterns, so if not for the party, I probably wouldn't have carved it...

Okay, last one for now. I have one more pumpkins left gutted already. You know, if Ryan decides to drop any last minute surprises... I even kept my largest pumpkin to be on the safe side
