90 isn't anything to sneeze at. Congrats on another successful year! Nice to see your Bat Boy is still representing.
I once thought about making a stencil that says something like, "No More Candy Left" but that would just be asking for a smashing.
Even with a last minute order, I received my Haunted Hot Sauce in plenty of time for Halloween. Well worth the purchase price. As I mentioned, I'm a sucker for the creative packaging and creepy illustrations. I love my little coffin. I almost want to kill small creatures so I can have a practical us...
Looks like fun. I need to coordinate a group carving event like this, one of these years. Upside-down or not, it looks like you had some talented carvers there. They must have had a good instructor! Or good stencils to work from. Okay, okay... both!
Another loyal Zombie Pumpkins member (Sheryl Shermak) got some press this year too. And this journalist managed to mention the ZP web address: Pumpkins seen as "high art" My old hometown also did a story on Zombie Pumpkins this year. They even interviewed my mom, in an attempt to trace my madness ba...
The only reason I'd need (or want) more pumpkins around, is to carve some with Thanksgiving themes. But I usually save one or two for that purpose, so I'm all set this year.
Now would be a good time to stock up on other items though. Like carving kits.
Awesome! After seeing these pics, I can't imagine a Slimer pumpkin with anything BUT a green light.
Congrats on getting in the paper, Cindy. And thanks for trying to get a plug for ZP in there! Even if they didn't mention the site by name, I'm still honored to see my designs getting that kind of exposure.
Indeed, Zombie Pumpkins are a hit at any party. Hope to see your pics.
Nobody knows who, but someone with a lot of Halloween spirit decorated this small southern Colorado town with hundreds and hundreds of pumpkins. http://www.cnn.com/2006/US/11/01/pumpkin.town.ap/ It's like waking up to find presents under the tree from Santa. Who would take the time for such a festiv...
You never disappoint, Mark. Such creative costumes too. A good excuse to beat the kid heads together. Cute.
Looks like you do a fine job with cut-out carvings, even if that's not your usual style. When you said you were in a rush, did you mean with the photo taking? Or the carving?
Because if you rushed the carvings, I'm impressed. Those are somewhat complex designs to tackle in a hurry. Kudos.
Cool pics, Pumpkinman. Your whole pumpkins are lit up! You must be using a long exposure time, scraping your pumpkin walls thin, or putting 1,000 watt bulbs in there. Which is it?
Curtis, I love that you have the whole family involved. Pumpkin carving spanning the generations. That's one of the things that makes pumpkin carving so fun. The memories and traditions. Nice work on all of those pumpkins. And to comment on your Hulk Hogan.... I can totally recognize him (even befor...
