I was just wondering since we are given ZP stencil avatars to choose from. Did you carve your avatar? I used to use dragaon flight and was going to carve it but one of my students choose it at my carving party and since doing the same would be poor taste, I choose not to. I changed my avatar to my Z...

I know you know what a gargoyle is but since you asked for some samples http://marks-english-school.com/news/halloween/garg.jpg this is a type of gargoyle I was thinking of. Maybe a little scarier or zombier. Gargoyles might make great unique creations or anything else i could say that would get you...

What do you mean? Like a virtual carving game?

Too bad about the killer klown pumpkin. And nice sparkler picture :P I know that wasn't what you were going for. A cool photo with sparklers is to have them pointed down, off camera to the top. Then go with long exposure and you get trailers of the sparks in your picture, sort of a Matrix effect or ...

I agree. It does slow the page down. But you could throw in a CD before opening ZombiePumpkins to get you in the mood. Music and flashy stuff on a web site usually mean there's not a lot of content (over compensation.) Really useful or packed sites are generally very simple, but some of the best out...

(it's not a doll!)
Keep telling yourself that. :P

Sorry, maybe a bit too true color but I couldn't resist.

It works now. Great job with sponge bob!

One question though, you went as killer klown, but didn't carve killer klown to match. any reason?

I just saw your costume and thought "ooohhh he's going to have a killer klown pumpkin. (light happy clapping and rubbing my hands together.)"

Ditto on the wash your pumpkins in the sink or out back with the hose. The idea just came to me this year but it really did make a big difference and the cuts look a lot better all cleaned up and shiny new, especially the small ones like Bone Jangles teeth.

I don't use photobucket but try openning the tumbnail folder and then posting that link, or individual photo links.

Cleaned up yet?

I find the more I do, the longer it takes me to clean up. I packed everything away on Thursday, and #$*& it my wife hands me washed costumes to put away today. I finally got the pumpkins out to the trash this morning (rotting with flies, maybe Ryan would like pictures of those Zombies.) Then I notic...

Did you paint (blacken) your nose and eyes under the mask?

It looks great. That's probably a nice creapy effect for any mask now that I think about it.

Great job and I would expect no less.

I noticed you carved all new patterns. Are there any patterns you carve year after year?

fantastic! I like the mask! I could tell (or thought ) it was homemade before I read it, if that puts a glow in your heart.

Makes me want to be a scarecrow next year.

But my wife is bent on the family going as one. Maybe they could all be pumpkins 8) Zombie pumpkins
