I thought I saw an ad from Michaels about 2 yrs ago showing foam ornaments for Christmas. They were in red, green and gold. Did I just make that up ????, see it in a dream????, or what???. I think I can even remember talking about it here in the forum. Anyway, I had never seen them in a store and wa...

I have been working on making foam pumpkins look like Christmas ornaments. I carved the Grinch (great pattern BTW) on a 9 inch round kin from Michaels. Then painted it with a red metallic paint. I sprayed the insides with a spray adhesive and poured about half a jar of Martha Stewart limeade ultrafi...

Thanks for the advice! I'm definitely going to try this one a medium pumpkin from Michael's. I'm using a black one and plan to carve the Steelers team logo on it and coat the inside with gold glitter. I'm hoping it turns out as nice as yours! Do you just use a spray adhesive from a craft store?[/quo...

I do this on a foam pumpkins and I think a very simple sillouette (like Ryan's twilight flight witch) would work best. The sparkles take on a life of their own so the patterns needs to be simpler and more defined than either of the 2 patterns I used. I did NOT put anything over the top of the glitte...

Thanks you all! If it is not Freezing outside ~~~ that's where you will see me doing the glitter thing and that still doesn't keep it out of the house!
