Kelley Armstrong: another great author! Pretty sure I've read all of the Otherworld and Darkest Powers books. Can't recall if I've read the Nadia Stafford books though. As for Laurell K Hamilton, her books got me hooked on (wasn't she one of the first to do)urban fantasy. No, most of her books aren'...

I recommend any of the Omnibus paperbacks:

H.P. Lovecraft Omnibus Vol 1: At the Mountains of Madness and Other Novels of Terror
H.P. Lovecraft Omnibus Volume 2: Dagon and Other Macabre Tales
H.P. Lovecraft Omnibus Volume 3: The Haunter in the Dark

I'm a huge fan of the Southern Vampire novels! It was actually hard for me to watch the show b/c I kept comparing it to the books. For me, it's better to watch the series/movie first then read the books instead of the other way around. It's still cool to see so many people interested in checking out...

This is a great series! Pretty sure I've only read through the mid 60s and they're up to issue 77 or 78 now.

I'm almost done with the book. I think it's pretty good. Each story ties in to the next in some way. I read it as a 'realistic representation' of an alternate history/future.

I know quite a few people who have given rave reviews to the Jane Austen/zombie novels.

I have never read any of her novels and though I love zombies, they still don't appeal to me.

I haven't read any of his novels.

I've seen the film adaptations and read the graphic novel adaptation of I Am Legend. The original novel is the next book on my to read list.

The first film she hosted for this new Movie Macabre was Night of the Living Dead. I can't remember what the second week's movie was titled, but I watched that too. Now I love Elvira and was stoked for her to be back on the air, but damn..her lines were so cheesy! I know the valley girl thing is par...

AMC should be posting some info (if they haven't already) about streaming/downloading the show.

We lucked out in Houston, one of the local movie theaters/bars will be showing the premiere episode on the big screen.

Can't wait to see how the show turns out; I love the comic!

Resurrecting my intro thread to say hi again. I moved not too long after my initial post and didn't have dedicated net access the whole year plus I was there, so my use was pretty sporadic and I only kept track of a few sites. Sorry guys! I recently moved into a new place and have my full time inter...

Hello all you zombie kins!

My name is Nikita aka Devil x Kat. I've been a lurker here for quite a while now, figured I'd finally register.

I'm a halloween/horror fiend. Sad to say, but I've been lax in my decorating/carving duties the past few years. That will be remedied this season!
